I’ve been passionate about social media for some time now, blogging since 2004, and more recently I’ve been focused on how people are publically discussing brands on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and a variety of other places on the Internet. More recently, I have been working with various marketing teams at Microsoft regarding their social media efforts and I have now summarized a variety of what I’ve learned into the three concepts of Social Media, Paid Media, and Owned Media and how they should be integrated parts of your overall marketing strategy.
