My Infographic Resumé / CV

I have been thinking about how to update my previous infographic resume and I’ve finally put the finishing touches on it. Introducing… my April 2012 version of my Infographic Resume:

2012 Foursquare Day Seattle

Like last year, I helped host Seattle’s Foursquare Day for 2012. Although I wasn’t able to help much with the planning, it was still a good networking event with quite a few items given away. To make up for my absence during planning, I helped check people in and bought Mike and Robert a beer, as a sales rep from Odin Brewing bought me one. You never know who you’ll meet at a Foursquare event!

While Foursquare is an interesting social media service, the thing that really differentiates it from others, such as Facebook, is how it encourages people to get out and about in their own community. In this case, Foursquare Day is a volunteer effort, local businesses give us items to raffle off and a local business (Belltown Pub) hosted us for the evening. The people that show up at Foursquare Day are there to have a good time with friends, meet new people and get the free stuff.
